You can easily top-up your Paypal account from Mpesa using the official Paypal paybill number.

Calculating the amount in Kshs

To top up PayPal using Mpesa, you need to know the Kenya shilling equivalent.

Say you want to deposit $100 from Mpesa to Paypal, the first step would be to login to the Thunes Paypal to Mpesa website with your Paypal account, then navigate to the Top-up section from the navigation, or homepage.

On the calculator, enter the amount you want to top up, e.g. $100, and press calculate.

Go to Mpesa

Select Lipa na Mpesa

Select PayBill option

Enter 800088 as the Business Number.

Enter your account number : your Mpesa phone number linked to the Paypal to Mpesa service

Enter the amount you calculated on the Paypal to Mpesa website in Kenya shillings (KES), e.g. 13519

Enter your M-pesa PIN to confirm the purchase

Click Send and wait for a confirmation from M-pesa and Paypal
